The Power2X Estonia facility will produce green methanol from sustainably harvested biomass and residual forestry streams from Estonia. The target is to produce 500,000 tons of green methanol per year and to start operations in 2028. The project will support the local economy by producing sustainable feedstock for chemical materials production, providing reliable, sustainable heat to city districts, and integrating hydrogen (or hydrogen based fuels) into the local economy. Ultimately, the investment aims to position Pärnu as a hub for future-focused, sustainable industries.
